Workshop Details
Workshops are two to four days long, depending on the topic.  Classes run from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm each day and take place primarily in the field.  Participants should be prepared for light hiking on uneven terrain and in variable weather conditions.  Most workshops also involve a small amount of time in the classroom, where students become familiar with terminology and botanical keys.  Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of each workshop.  Our Wetland Flora Workshops count toward the fulfillment of "Professional Wetland Scientist" as set forth by the Society of Wetland Scientists.

Food and Lodging
For each workshop, we will reserve a block of rooms at a local hotel or biological field station.  However, participants are responsible for making reservations and paying for their own lodging.  IBT will provide lunch for the majority of days during each workshop.  After registering for a course, you will receive an informational letter with more details about food and lodging, as well as other aspects of the course.

Payment Information
If you wish to pay with a credit card or to receive an invoice, please call us at 317-430-6566.  To pay with a personal check, please make the check payable to Institute of Botanical Training and mail it to the address shown at the bottom of this page, along with the printable registration form.  A deposit of one half the enrollment fee will hold your reservation.  However, full payment must be received at least 14 days prior to the start date of the workshop or your deposit is forfeited.  A receipt will be mailed to you when your payment is received.   If the class is cancelled for any reason, you will receive notification and a full refund.  We reserve the right to cancel classes due to inadequate enrollment or other unforeseen events.
